We’d like to wish a huge congratulations to Healthcare at Home, who yesterday won a national award at the Patient Experience Network awards 2011! The awards recoginse innovation and excellence in patient experience across the UK. With attendees all the way from bonny Scotland it was a hotbed of best practice, as well as fiercely contested! Healthcare at Home won the Continuity of Care award for their Family Liaison Service, a clinical service model that provides 247 care for patients at the end of life in their own homes. Oh, and did we mention that we wrote their award winning entry? Just thought we’d slip that in there. Congratulations again to Healthcare at Home, a thoroughly deserved win for a fantastic service.
