Alex is an Account Manager and works closely with clients to run retainers and projects to achieve their objectives. Alex has come to ZPB with over six years health and social care communications experience. Before joining the team, Alex led on communications and engagement projects at the National Institute for Health Research; a highlight being the rebrand of their International Clinical Trials Day campaign: I Am Research.
Since he has been in the ZPB team, he has delivered several successful client projects. Most notably the production and launch of Allocate Software’s workforce optimisation report and achieving national press coverage for Outcomes Based Healthcare’s healthspan measurement.
His wide-ranging experience within health and social care organisations includes general and specialist NHS trusts, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and an integrated care programme. Alex’s experience enables him to communicate effectively with a variety of patient and health professional audiences, and identify the most appropriate communications channels to do so through.
During his time back home, in Merseyside, he led on internal and external communications at two NHS trusts. He also organised the award-winning NHS North West Games. When he moved down to the ‘Big Smoke’ with the CQC, he was fully involved in the largest transformation of the national health and social care regulator; organising coproduction events and producing communications materials.
Alex spends his spare time trying to play hockey, but mainly enjoys the socialising afterwards.
