Amy is a media relations specialist and has eight years experience working in public relations and public affairs communications across healthcare, corporate and retail sectors.
Her experience includes agency-side and in-house communications, strategic planning and implementation,social media campaigns, media and patient group relations. Amy has worked across a diverse range of therapy areas including HIV, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and heart failure. She is particularly proud to have worked with a number of rare disease communities, to help bring unfamiliar conditions to the forefront of doctors and the public’s minds, by developing inspiring film and animation content and media communications.
Prior to specialising in healthcare communications, Amy worked in the Marks & Spencer corporate press office, the House of Commons and the United States Senate in Washington D.C. She graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in Politics and Parliamentary Studies.
Outside of work, Amy is passionate about dancing and is currently pursuing a teaching qualification in tap, ballet and modern styles of dance.
