Yesterday saw the hugely successful launch of the Healthbox Europe programme, Europe’s first startup scheme for health tech entrepreneurs. The event, organised and managed throughout by ZPB, convened over 100 experts, mentors, entrepreneurs and business leaders to launch the seven health tech teams chosen for the European programme. These seven were whittled down from the hundreds of applications received from twenty countries across the globe. ZPB have been working with Healthbox for the last few months to reach out across European tech and entrepreneur networks in a hunt for health tech startups. The final seven teams address a diverse range of health challenges, from speeding up the process of synthesising DNA to helping patients recover from injuries and minor disabilities.
