Last Friday was the NHS England Entrepreneurs Day at Hub Westminster.
The day was a huge success with a long list of speakers and a very packed room of delegates.
The event began with speeches from NHS England’s Tim Kelsey, Beverley Bryant and John Coulthard who gave updates on NHS England’s recent work. This was followed by a panel who spoke about the work of the new Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs) with health-tech entrepreneurs. Finally the day ended with a ‘virtual goody bag’ of offers for SMEs including discounts and networking opportunities from various organisations.
With a total of 19 speakers the event was fast-paced and had a great buzz.
