We are expecting this year’s NHS Confederation conference to be brought to us by the letters S, T and P, with a liberal sprinkling of Brexit and purdah. And we are already feeling sympathy for those of you speaking on Thursday afternoon whilst the football is on.
On Thursday 16th at 10am, ZPB’s Chief Operating Officer Alex Kafetz will be chairing a session with the National Information Board (NIB), on digital diffusion. Alongside Beverley Bryant from NHS Digital, Alex will be leading a discussion with NHS leaders on how they are implementing the NIB agenda at local level and the challenges they face.
Healthcare at Home are sponsoring the Building a culture with patients and individuals at the centre of care delivery strand and we have been working with colleagues there to curate a session about how the experiences of patients influence service planning and delivery. At 9am on Thursday 16th in room Exchange 10, Healthcare at Home’s CEO Natalie Douglas, will be joined by Roger Spencer, CEO of the Christie Hospital, and Adrienne Betteley from Macmillan to give examples of how working with patients has directly changed services and treatments.
The AHSN Network, which ZPB manages, will be exhibiting on stand 41. They will be launching this year’s AHSN impact report. Finally, the Cambridge Health Network will be hosting it’s annual after-dinner drinks.
Members of the ZPB senior team, including our CEO Zoe Bedford, will also be attending the conference. Tweet @ZPBedford or @ZPBLtd if you’d like to meet up.
