As Creative Services Director at ZPB, Gita has helped clients to grow by articulating what they do and developing their brands and messages for the market. Gita is a former health journalist and editor and has developed campaigns by developing well-written and original content based on evidence for online and offline channels.
Gita is a marketing and communications specialist who has led on a range of high profile projects for public sector clients, working with stakeholders at all levels including Ministers and senior civil servants. In 2007 Gita was the launch editor of NHS Choices (www.nhs.uk) which quickly became the biggest health website in Europe, now with 40 millions users per week. Later Gita developed the creative strategy for the website ensuring focus on usability and accessibility and user-centred design principles. She also developed an award-winning programme aimed at people who are digitally excluded.
Gita worked at the Evening Standard for seven years, as a journalist and editor. She was the health features editor of the weekly section in the newspaper.
