Milena Marinkovic

Milena is a Senior Research Analyst at ZPB, working across the full client portfolio on quantitative and qualitative analysis, market sizing, economic modelling, and evidence synthesis. She works with large, complex datasets from across the health system to produce findings that are clear, well-sourced, and useful to the people making decisions with them.

At ZPB, Milena works with NHS trusts, private healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical clients. She builds market sizing models, analyses clinical activity data, and designs quantitative methodologies for projects spanning health economics, private patient strategy, and pharmaceutical partnerships. She brings the same attention to evidence quality whether she is building a financial model or pulling together a qualitative evidence base for a client report.

Before joining ZPB, Milena led analytical work at the MHRA on a national pharmacovigilance programme, owning data pipelines and multi-source dataset integration. At Waythrough, a specialist drug, alcohol and mental health charity, she worked with clinical datasets to support service redesign, established academic collaborations, and mentored postgraduate researchers.

Milena has a background in molecular biology and life sciences, including doctoral and postdoctoral research at the University of Exeter. Outside of work, she is always finding new learning challenges: these currently include contemporary dance, modern ballet, and performance art. She is obsessively learning Mandarin, which has expanded into practicing hanzi calligraphy and Chinese herbal medicine as well.
