Rachel Allan

Rachel leads ZPB's healthcare strategy work, specialising in brand, market positioning and communications, with particular expertise in the independent sector with private providers and HealthTech organisations.  She works with senior teams where strategy and communication is critical, helping clients define their competitive position and communicate it effectively to patients, commissioners and referrers.
 

Her client work spans some of the UK's most recognised healthcare names: brand and campaign strategy for Priory Group across addiction and therapy services; commercial positioning for Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust's private patient unit; and destination brand strategy for the Harley Street Health District.


Rachel also brings a strong public health background, including national behaviour change campaigns and policy communications with the NHS, Department of Health and Care Quality Commission, giving her a distinctive perspective on building trust across both public and private healthcare.
 

A member of the ZPB senior management team, Rachel is known for strategic rigour, commercial sharpness and - when the moment calls for it - well-timed humour.
