ZPB Associates was shortlisted as finalists for two separate categories, ‘Best Data Insight from an Integrated Campaign’ and ‘Best Corporate Storytelling Through Data’, at Communicate Magazine’s 2023 DataComms Awards.
We took home two Silver awards for our 'Battleground' campaign where we used data to develop insight into unknown barriers to patient flow. Both categories recognise our creative and hardworking approach for our longstanding clients, CHS Healthcare – patient flow experts and a longstanding partner of the NHS.
Throughout 2022, the number of people unnecessarily stuck in hospitals due to discharge delays reached record high numbers. The situation was not only concerning because of the detrimental impact that delayed discharge can have on people’s health, but also because of the knock of impact felt by both an already overstretched system and those requiring urgent care.
Working alongside CHS Healthcare, we set out to develop and deliver an integrated campaign that would help explain and improve this issue. To achieve this, we adopted a data-led approach that would help us provide new insights into the issue of delayed hospital discharge. Our approach included a novel analysis of NHS data, an independent survey of frontline health and care workers, and a focus group with key NHS experts.
As a result, our campaign saw 21 pieces of coverage in targeted national, trade and regional press - including the front page of The Daily Telegraph and The Telegraph online; a 132.6% growth in CHS Healthcare LinkedIn reposts - predominantly amongst our target audience; an increase of 18.17% in unique CHS Healthcare webpage views; and crucially, eight new partnerships between CHS Healthcare and local NHS services.
The shortlisting for both categories reflects the hard-work, diligence, and commitment of ZPB team’s CHS Healthcare team, and moves us one step closer in establishing our health consultancy services as the most connected and data-led in the UK.
