This month we have welcomed Nicki to the ZPB team!
Nicki joins ZPB as a Client Partner. Nicki will work as a trusted advisor to clients, working closely with them to understand their strategic needs, develop tailored solutions and offer guidance and support to help them to achieve their goals.
We sat down with Nicki to learn more about her background and ambitions for the upcoming year:
What were you doing before you joined ZPB?
I have been in healthcare communications for over 20-years – beginning my comms career as an Account Executive and steadily progressing to Director. Over the past two decades, I have learned the intricacies of client management, and have delivered many innovative and impactful solutions for corporate, brand, PR, internal and cause-related campaigns.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working across various agencies and in many specialised areas, and this experience has allowed me to expand my skillset, as well as deepen my understanding of the dynamic landscape of healthcare.
So, as I transition into this new chapter with ZPB as Client Partner, I am looking forward to leveraging my experience and expertise to contribute meaningfully to the team.
What made you want to work at ZPB?
When the role of Client Partner became available, I was drawn to the the prospect of working with such a dynamic and forward-thinking company. ZPB has an excellent reputation in the healthcare industry, as well as being a company that fosters a culture of growth and development, and I decided that I wanted to be part of this team that clearly delivers high-quality work and is respected for its expertise.
Above all, what truly excited me about the prospect of working for ZPB is how closely my personal values and professional goals align with the company's mission and vision. I see a clear synergy between my skills, ambitions and the opportunities ZPB offers for collaborative success.
What interests you about healthcare?
My interest in healthcare stems from a deep-rooted passion for science during my 15-year University career and since moving into healthcare communications over 20 years ago, it has grown and evolved. I love the role that science plays in healthcare, and how a blend of scientific knowledge and innovation has the potential to make a difference and enhance patient outcomes, alleviating suffering and improving the well-being and quality of life for everyone.
This dynamic nature of healthcare comms presents an exciting opportunity to blend the intricacies of science and healthcare that I love with effective client services. I am motivated and driven to make a lasting impact in healthcare through strategic communication and client-centric approaches, and a chance to make a meaningful impact.
How are you finding working at ZPB?
I love it! From the moment I joined the team a month ago, I was welcomed into a passionate and supportive team that truly values collaboration and creativity.
The team's dog-friendly environment and office roof-top garden adds some extra layers of charm, making every day a stimulating and enjoyable experience.
What are you most looking forward to for the year ahead?
Overall, I am looking forward to a successful year of growth, nurturing existing relationships and fostering new connections, as well as embracing all the possibilities that lie ahead.
The journey ahead is brimming with potential, and I am super excited to embark this new chapter of my career.
